The story was pretty good for a basic invasion society collapse type apocalypse story. I understand most of this genre will have a right bend which I can ignore since I happen to believe if these events ever happen it will be the right that causes them.
I gave up half way through the series when after another slaughter fest of the enemy one of the main characters went on a 10 minute rant about politics and how every other ideology is what ruined the world.
I really tried to like the series, I like the authors take on some things, but the rants and conspiracy theories ruined it.
