Good story. Interesting topic. Found myself eye rolling at certain parts of the novel especially when Ben feels guilty. It’s so cliche and unnecessary. Some chapters dragged on, but overall a good series. I felt compelled to finish all 15 books even though I knew they would make it home eventually because of the new series about their lives in Durango. There nothing like trauma bonding to fuel a romance in this dystopia of post EMP. I personally wouldn’t survive and would parish with the likes of the big cities, but it’s interesting to listen to what it would take to do so. I probably wouldn’t have given this a listen if I had to pay for it. Thank you audible plus for opening my mind to alternative perspectives!
