Some of the voices are a bit cringe with the “kermit” sound that comes through. Also… could we please not use the “American” pronunciation of trebuchet? Like, I actually had to look it up because it bothered me and I thought maybe I was wrongly pronouncing the word all these years. No… it’s just that the only other way I had ever heard the word spoken was the British English or the proper French way.
I think the book could really use a second narrator, particularly for the female characters. The voices for Robert just sounds like he’s about 30 years older than he is in the story. Frank sounds like a dopey kermit. In general a lot of the older male characters just sound ancient.
Otherwise, the story is good. I’ve read all the books so this gives a little bit of a different perspective on the story.
