In the second book of the Adrift series, the narrative continues with Chris and Maria, stranded on a smaller island following an airplane crash. Eventually, they are rescued by Captain Cook in the 18th century. Chris spends nearly a year searching for his wife, Alaina, only to discover that she is pregnant with another man’s child. In this instalment, the group endeavours to find their way back home to their own time.
Amy did a wonderful job in bringing the characters to life.
