Narrator is decent – don’t know how he could take this series seriously. Good premise but awful execution. 80% of each book is 10 min of the MC’s internal rehash of most recent events followed by 5-8 minutes of internal rationalization for what he is about to do next. This internalization occurs BEFORE EVERY ACTION such that it takes 4 hrs for one minor event to further the plot. I finally quit and filed this book and author under Did Not Finish and Do Not Read once he switched POV to his son’s gf and then we had to spend 15 minutes of HER REPEATING and RATIONALIZING everything we just finished listening the MC express.
