Whats frustrating for me is that I truly enjoyed the series. The MC thinks in a similar way to myself, his struggle against an unjust system and his refusal to go full Murderhobo on the world resonated with me. Until book 4. After making several references to the fact that he would not be the typical necromancer, that changes this book. He kills and entire keep of non-combat familes and their children. This is a line I will not accept and specfically read this series BECAUSE they made it so clear he wouldnt. I am extremely disappointed in the series, the author, and the character ajd will be refunding the book. DNF.
