This book was like a fever dream. That’s literally the best way to describe it. I won’t lie, without the audiobook, I don’t think I would have finished it. It’s not really my cup of tea. But the delivery in the audiobook added a whole element of hilarity of its own. Obviously, the book is meant to be funny and ridiculous, but like with The Martian’s audiobook, the dry delivery had me burst out laughing pretty much every time I turned it on. I wasn’t going to go on with the series because like I said, this isn’t really my thing, but upon finishing the first book, I actually think I might. 😂
