Best spent credit I’ve used so far. I was looking for a vampire-focused book that didn’t revolve around sexual activities and stumbled upon this gem. It may not be wholly vampire-focused, but its colorful cast of misfits and outcasts will grow on you. The story was a fun ride of action and adventure with a bit of humor sprinkled in. The world-building was heavily front-loaded, but still interesting. The performance was masterfully done, with not a single low-performing character throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed these books and highly recommend giving them a listen/read.
