This novel was one that makes you think. If you knew you were getting old and were to lose your vision what would you want your lasts to be. Last letter youd write, last book youd read, last country youd visit, last face you might see. Would you have any major regrets? Any you could atone for? This is not the kind of book I usually read. But the emotional literary fiction books sometimes get me. This was really well done and I felt emotional when it concluded. Maybe not book of the year for me but beautifully done nonetheless, and one I think many will also enjoy.
