I am not one to write reviews but feel compelled to do so with this novel. When the buzz first started about this book, I listened to the sample clip and decided it wasn’t for me. Seemed boring and wasn’t sure I’d like the letter format. My book club chose it for this month’s book and boy was I surprised to find out how much I liked it, actually how much I loved it! The storytelling is beautiful and so clever that it is done through letters. I loved all the characters and the depth of the stories. I’m not sure if I’ve ever cried during a book before (if I have it’s been quite a while) but I definitely did during this one. But not in a horrible way, in a beautiful way because I was so moved. Do yourself a favor and read it. Better yet listen to the Audible because the narration is heavenly.
