Is this a book collection about ants? Yes, and more! About family? Yes, and more! This is a collection about being human, being an ant, it’s about family, acceptance, friends, food, weird monsters and fantasy. Wizards, warriors, cute balls of death and hulking idiotic buddies abound in this lovely, well crafted world, lovingly written by an excellent author. It may not be for everyone, especially those who don’t like fun, but it’s for me. If you like the Bobiverse this is a must listen collection (no ants in space… yet… but there is something about an intelligent yet humble nerd to reluctant hero story that harmonizes and entertains in a similar, yet completely different fashion)! If you liked Ants Canada, this is an absolute can’t miss series (if you know, you know)! If you like roll playing games, both tabletop and video game versions, you are in luck! I cannot wait to start the next book. This is one I’ll come back to over and over again. It’s not just about an ant, this series has heart and soul. Lastly, the presentation and voice acting in this series is beyond brilliant, it’s legendary. Big kudos to everyone involved in this fantastic work of art!
