This was easily one of the strangest books I’ve ever read. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t really my thing. There were genuinely funny, off-the-wall moments—llamas that enjoy meth definitely earn points for sheer creativity—and I can appreciate how imaginative the author was willing to be.
That said, the novelty wore off over time. The nonstop fight scenes and constant achievement-style progress started to feel repetitive and dragged the story down for me. While I’m glad I gave it a try and can see why others might enjoy the chaos, I don’t think I’ll be continuing with the series.
