Ben needs to build up his crew and teach his kids how to take care of themselves and each other instead of agonizing over trying to keep them ignorant of the new “normal”.
There was sure a lot of gun descriptions. I’m surprised there wasn’t more mention of toilet paper 🧻 shortages. Women didn’t figure into the story as much as I would have expected. Ally and Sandy were often mentioned but they could be more than background figures. As well as Emma.
Ben is the leader but everyone could be more involved in deciding how to proceed and Ben wouldn’t need to agonize as much.
I grew up in Durango Colorado it was why I started listening. It was fun to hear places mentioned but you should look closer at a street map. There were errors. And Florida road is pronounced the Spanish version. As Floreda.
Overall it was quite the adventure. I’m thinking 🤔 there will be a few more books to go.
