I have to admit first: that I bought this because it is written by a former israeli.

and second, that I did not listen to it all the way to the end: it is too realistic, and too close to heart, for 2025-2026.

very good writing, very comprehensive story telling.

however, the 19 hours length is a bit too much for just one book.

another little detriment is the contrast between the sweetness and mellow atmosphere of the first part, where the 2 MCs’ characters are built, and they get together; and the second part where the political thriller story unfolds.

maybe in 5-6 years I’ll be able to come back to this, but today? it should come with trigger warnings 😉
