it was somewhat tedious in the beginning with some unlikable characters and some dry situations. by the end though it really got it’s footing together and found it’s tone. pace improved and characters became much more entertaining. that said, the status updated when the character checks his level feel like they go on for ages now and I imagine it will only get worse it later books. hopefully the author/production find a cleaner way to convey that information.
