The review title might not make a whole lot of sense right now, but you’ll get it by the end of the first few chapters.
I sometimes have a hard time listening to audio books and most of them fail to keep my attention. Life is too short to spend time slogging through an audiobook if you’re not fully enjoying it.
I learned about this book when my boyfriend played it in the car. The first thing I noticed about it was the incredible choice of narrator. Jeff Hays does an incredible job bringing the book and characters to life. It never felt corny or sounded like the narrator was overacting, which is important for me.
The way the story is written and content of the story itself is so unique and approachable.
This book contains some of the best story telling, character development, world building I’ve seen in a while and, on top of all of that, it’s genuinely hilarious. I can guarantee that you will have so much fun listening to Dungeon Crawler Carl.
For me, this is an instant classic and I will not stop recommending it to everyone I know.

They need to join the Cult of Carl.
