I’m disappointed. I was hoping this book would be good, I’m stopping at like chapter 20, I can’t go any further. The story isn’t bad, and had potential. Unfortunately, The narrator isn’t good, and the author’s choices aren’t the best. The narrator mispronounced to the point that it pulled me out of the story. I know this is a fantasy book, but he’s mispronouncing regular words. The author’s choices to make every non-human woman sexy, then repeatedly mention it is off-putting. Honestly, I’m just annoyed. I don’t have a problem buying another book from this author, but I’m not listening to anything else from this narrator.
