I really enjoyed the pacing of Book 2. The side quests (Carnival, especially) made me grow to like Carl and Donut even more. The voice acting is a big part of what’s sold me on this series. The writing is a perfect balance of humor, action/adventure, and drama.
I play a lot of D&D. I know that a TTRPG based on the series is planned; I can’t wait to check it out. And DCC is going to be apesh*t bananas as a TV series. I’m glad I listened to all of the folks who suggested this series to me.
Now onto Book 3.
