This story was a great length for a weekend-style read, and had wonderful narration. As a listener I enjoyed the build-up of tension, but the MC does suffer from the diseases that affect a lot of horror characters, Poor Decision-Making and Not Running Away. Although the tales climax what somewhat obvious in the journey, the actual extent of the ending I did find genuinely surprising.
For the price of free-on-Audible, I had a blast.
