It took a little bit to get into the book or to understand where it was going…but then it did and I was captured. There are no explosions, nothing that hits you out of nowhere. And yet, there are surprises and gentle turns that keep you captivated and unable to stop listening. At the end I felt like Sybil was an old friend and I shared her pain in life’s tragedies. It’s a really lovely book.
