I did enjoy this MM romance, but the narration took me a moment to connect.

I did enjoy the story, I actually thought both narrators were pretty darn good.

But I did have a strange ass sort of issue with the narrator who is voicing. Em. To me he sounded a lot like David Sedaris. If you’re not familiar with him, he’s a comedic essayist who often appears on This American Life.. And I don’t mean to offend David Sedaris, but when I think of a sexy voice of a very young man, I don’t think of David Sedaris. But, in spite of the very similar voice/vocal style, this voice narrator was still very good. So in the end, I did enjoy it.. though I spent time chuckling at David Sedaris as a vulnerable trafficking victim falling in love.
