I started out liking it, I liked the authors voice and the tone she hits with her writing. There was interesting tension building and so much could have been done with the truly villainous mmc. But for me, that tension was wasted when the fmc was so forgiving that it was impossible to suspend disbelief and truly enjoy the story. It was dissapointing when she treated the stalking like a minor issue when a key interest point was the build up toward “what’s she gonna do when she finds out” and rather than developing a psychologically believable response she just rolls over and forgives him. Im all for an infuriating mmc, but there has to be a payoff with him getting pushback. The weakness of the fmc actually made her less likable than Hayden. Also, its called a muzzle not a nozzle!
