OK, but I was hoping for more depth

This was OK, but I would argue that “He Who Fights with Monsters” (at least book 1) was way better. I understand DCC came out before so this isn’t a fair comparison necessarily.

If you are looking for a some deep ideology of the main heros, there isn’t anything beyond just being generic “good guys”.

Good solid action, interesting premise, but overall, this is very simple stuff. Still enjoyable easy listening/reading.
