I only began this book because my daughter recommended it. Through the early pages, I kept wondering why she liked hearing someone’s correspondence! Then, Sybil’s stories gathered me in, causing me to wonder what & whether she would hear back from her respondents. By the end of this story, it shook me emotionally. That’s all I’ll say, so as not to spoil a beautiful reading/listening experience for others. Thank you, Virginia Evans, and all the marvelous narrators. I can see this book as a play!
