The concept of this book was a very unique take on a post apocalyptic scenario but definitely not for everyone. I’m not sure if the humor was intentionally supposed to be base as an indication of the inhumanity of the alien race but it wasn’t very creative or funny. Overall I think the storyline was repetitive, but it did set up good ground work I’m assuming for understanding the series and the way the game works. I would recommend for individuals who like gaming and aren’t easily insulted.
