I’m not sure if it’s because I listened to this book instead of using a physical copy, but the letter writing was incredibly annoying. Every name, address/ email address over and over was redundant. I felt there was so actual story here. It spans over about 10 years of Sybil’s life and it was all of course, surrounded around Gilbert, but truly there was no story. I wish the correspondents were sprinkled into the larger story. Overall, missed the mark for me.
