I listened to the series, and while it was a bit of a journey, I’m glad I stuck with it. The first book was honestly frustrating for me, mostly because the main character felt childish and made it hard to get into. But as the series progressed, especially in books two and three, I realized there was real purpose behind that character development. Whether it was the author’s plan or the performer’s skill, it became clear why it started that way. By the end, I appreciated the whole arc and really enjoyed the series. If you can push through the start, the payoff is worth it.
