I loved this series at first, but it has progressively become so needlessly overcomplicated and difficult to follow that by the end of this book I just feel empty. I constantly feel like I need a wiki to keep track of all the different characters, factions, etc. and I’m so lost on what’s going on half the time that none of the big reveals mean anything to me because I’m too busy asking questions. The plot has become such a mess. I’m happy everyone else is enjoying it, but this is probably my last listen in the series.
