Just finished my first Piper James book, and OMG, it was so good! 📚✨ I needed a light and easy read to cleanse my palate, and this was perfect.
The story follows Riggs and Tessa, who were high school sweethearts due to a bet. Tessa finds out and ends things with Riggs. 12 years later, Riggs is back home playing professional football, and they begin a prank war that leads to something more.
🎧📚🎧Cecily Foster and Josh Innerst did an amazing job with the narration. At times, I forgot I was even listening to a book! They really brought the characters to life.
Overall, I loved this book! It was a fun and flirty read that I devoured in no time. If you’re looking for a quick and enjoyable escape, I highly recommend The Turnover!
