This was my first experience with Chris Patchell’s work, and the story was riveting. Elizabeth Holt was physically attacked, and it changed her life. The subject matter was emotional. The societal norms which were presented were both thought-provoking and anger inspiring. Elizabeth Holt as a character was memorable and strong. Sara Hannan’s and Dryw McArthur’s dual narrations were good, and their performances enhanced the story’s message. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review which included my opinions.
