This was truly a mind teaser. In the last book, we thought they got the bad guy. And they kinda did. But we find out in this book that there is another bad guy in the picture. And the relationships that are revealed in this book are years long secrets. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat to see what happens next. My goodness, I couldn’t wait to see what the next mystery in this book was. When “Romeo” turns out to be Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde, it was a major surprise. Especially why. And let’s not forget the rest of the gang, especially Wes and Max. What is up with these two? Are they or aren’t they? The answer remains to be seen.
Cecily Foster and Devon Ryder are both new narrators for me. I was surprised at how good of a male voice Cecily Foster has. I loved her take on Jamie and the manic-ness of “Romeo”. Devon Ryder creates different personas for Jamie, Wes, Ryan and Max.
