Briar returns home after a summer away and was surprised to find all the changes going on in her life. From her mother being remarried to the house they are now living in…and most importantly the fact that her mom has had her enrolled at Saint U. As a way to act out, she attends a party where there’s some tequila and some guys…except little does she know that the person she wound up with happens to be her stepbrother. This is a dark romance and involves some bullying, life threats and a professor who has some grudge against her. It ends on a little cliffhanger, but trust me, the next book will make up for it.

Cecily did a wonderful job narrating and gave so much character to Briar…can’t wait to hear more.
