I want to like this book, I REALLY do, but the MC is just… ugh. I had to skip her internal conflicts more than once, and she always, ALWAYS, makes everything harder than it has to be, tries being pacifist, and can’t think critically when it comes to herself. There is so much potential for this book. Her mindset is just so irritating. I legitimately told her to just shut up out loud in my home while listening to this. that’s how irritating it got. I’m leaning towards not grabbing book two. I still don’t know.
