Audrey has a PhD in Philosophy. She’s also a very good girl from a wealthy family.

She has created a “whimsy list”, things she wants to accomplish to push herself out of her comfort zone and try to become a fun girl instead of a good girl. At least one of the things on the list requires a man’s help.

She’s taking a sabbatical to Sugar Creek, borrowing a cabin from her friends. Surprise, surprise, she finds she’s not alone when she first arrives.

Brooks is a fighter. He’s not fighting currently because – reasons. Including recovering from an injury but there are more complicated reasons. He’s the bad boy, sure that he’s never destined to have a happily ever after, a family of his own. Never mind that his mother is the most important person in his life. Until he meets Audrey.

Adriana Locke writes fun stories that are easy to read. Always with plenty of spice and characters you wish were your friends and neighbors. This one is no exception.
