It’s rare to find an emotionally available MMC. Connor didn’t disappoint. The narrator was pretty good. But omg, the FMC was insufferable. I almost DNFd because of her relentless self loathing and pick me behavior. The storyline was decent but that nearly ruined it. And the female narrator’s voice was a bit off putting too. I made it through but wouldn’t relisten.
