Going into the book, I wasnt sure about the hype. But, after the first chapter, I knew I was in trouble. The absurd nature of the setting set against Carl’s relatable inner-monologue creates genuinely funny moments. The dungeon is consistently surprising and doesnt lose its charm, which I was also afraid of. I cant WAIT to jump into book 2 as soon as possible.
