I almost quit listening because this started slow and rambles through endless voice changes. it just didn’t “click.” ….and suddenly, about 2 hours in I began to love the characters, and couldn’t wait to see who would get or write the next letter. And which wonderful narrator was next! I didn’t look at the index on purpose, to keep the suspense. Everyone was getting what they wanted out of the lives. Sybil aided so many people and she had no grasp on how she affected people. She did things with her characters much in the way Sybil told Larry MacMurtrey did with his.
Even though I know the end, this is one to read over and over.
