The first book in this series led me to Shrubley and that series happens to be the better of the story verse so Im more lenient on this series. That being said though, there is a bit too much cringe, morality high horse and angst in here for me to not deduct some points. To top that off (small spoiler passed this point) I will forever deduct points for bringing guns to a magic world for ex machina saves. Hoping in the future there’s less of Kers being tedious as a person and some stuff gets toned down. Still a fun story but hoping for better in the future
