The title is exactly what it’s about. The whole novel opens with Maggie giving birth to twins. Her normal doctor isn’t available, so Derek, a man she hasn’t seen in months, has to deliver her babies. Thing is, last time they saw each other, they slept together. The timeline adds up for him, but when he asks her point blank if the babies are his, she lies straight to his face. And that’s just the beginning of her lies! Sure, Derek had too many rules in the beginning, but lying is way worse than being a little too straight-laced.

I do have to say that the spicy scenes are hot. As usual, Aaron Shedlock brings his A game to Derek. The way he dominates the frisky activities got me all kinds of giddy. Amelia Hugh wasn’t bad either. If only I liked her character, it would have been great. I did finish this book because parts of it were really cool. And I’d probably read Sofia Summers again, just not this particular book.
