Good story and magic system. Ended up reading more on my Kindle app than audible because I didn’t like the narrator who did nothing different with his characters. Really should’ve been a female as most of the story is through Misaki’s POV.
I read Blood over Bright Haven first, which wow, I really LOVED. This was also a good story just didn’t have that punch in the gut and the ending kind of dragged a bit. Definitely following ML Wang now.
