This is one of the best books I’ve listened to in a long time. Like forget your chores, work, everything type of book. Second only to the other Susanna Ives book I’ve listened to recently, Wicked Little Secrets.
In this book, we find two people who are seemingly polar opposites but learn they have more in common than they know. George was strong and stoic with a strong sense of responsibility— but had a heart of gold that he kept hidden because of childhood trauma. Lilith was chaotic and vulnerable- she just wanted to be loved and accepted for who she was. Together they made the most delightful couple – – if you’re looking for exceptional banter, delightful side characters, and a happily ever after that is well deserved, this is a book for you. Deborah Balm is a fantastic narrator who brought so much depth and enjoyment to this book. Exceptionally well written with beautiful intimate scenes. Well worth the credit. ❤️
