Went into this book thinking it would be more DCC. It wasn’t. Took me a while to warm up to the premise and it might be the same for you. Stick it out! Things really heat up around the halfway point and the story, while great, actually develops to a very conversation-worthy plot with Sanderson-worthy (imo) twists and revelations. Read it!
