There’s some good stuff here about a grisly murder mystery, but it’s steeped in stuff that…hasn’t aged well, to say the least. And the whole conclusion in the last quarter or so is the most stunningly dumb thing I’ve read within recent memory.
It doesn’t help that the narration feels tonally off a lot of the time, or that it annoys you by every chapter break being unnecessarily long enough that you think the app crashed. Basically it’s just a trainwreck all around, but not in a way that you should bother with unless it pops up for free.
