I’ve read books 1-3. Figured I’d come back and just give my opinion to anyone considering reading. Are the books bad? No but they just miss that excitement when reading these types of books. Everyone hates this guy. Borderline no development arc still after 3 books. Some with Tarwin but still not rewarding. His power level constantly goes up but I find myself not caring. Almost like I was just reading to finish the books not enjoying them. Again not terrible but not gonna continue if there’s another. Biggest miss is the dudes a loner understandably but regardless of how powerful he gets borderline nobody’s attitude changes towards him that much. Found that annoying. Weak people try to test him, strong people all doubt him, powers are merged during boss fights…no surprise there. Idk 3 books and I could care less about the mc. Telling enough for me.
