I saw so many recommendations for this and was excited when the audio finally came out! This just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The heroine was obnoxiously snarky and over the top with her “badass vibes”. I love a strong heroine but she honestly just came across as super bitchy and she lacked any sort of self control when it came to important moments. I just couldn’t understand why everyone was so enamored by her!?! I also don’t love when most of the plot is given by inner dialogue and this was so full of it …..I was so bored! I needed more action and less inner dialogue that went on for chapters! I did like the fresh new take on a dragon fantasy. I just wish I didn’t learn it all through inner dialogue of a heroine I didn’t really care for.
