I absolutely LOVED this book and the way the author grew the main character and saved details to certain events to unfold later on. I was so annoyed with Sybil in the beginning, then grew to love her and her beautiful humanity. Definitely a heavy, bittersweet listen, I’ve had to just shut my mind off today so that I didn’t crumble under the sadness. I didn’t want it to end! Will be watching for Evans’ next book!
