Dungeon Crawler Carl completely blew past my expectations. What starts as a chaotic, absurd premise quickly turns into one of the most fun and addictive stories I’ve ever listened to. The humor is sharp, the action is nonstop, and the world-building is ridiculously creative.
Carl is such a relatable and unexpectedly heroic main character, and Donut (yes, the cat!) absolutely steals the show. Their banter had me laughing out loud, but there are also genuine emotional moments that hit harder than you’d expect for a story this wild.
If you like Ready Player One, Project Hail Mary, or anything that mixes humor with heart and chaos, you’ll love this. The audiobook narration is phenomenal—it really brings every moment to life.
I went in for the laughs and stayed for the world, the characters, and the pure entertainment. I’m hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next book!
