I loved this emotional and romantic getaway of a story! Capri, the FMC, is healing from heartbreak as she takes a trip to Italy with her sister, hoping to start fresh after a painful divorce. There, she meets Jones, the MMC, an American boat charter owner, what starts as a fun vacation fling slowly turns into something deeper, even when life tries to pull them apart!
Capri is strong but still hurting from her past, and I really admired her growth throughout the book! She struggles with trust and decision-making, which felt so real and relatable. Jones, on the other hand, is calm, steady, and incredibly supportive, I loved him so much! Heโs caring, sexy, and definitely book-boyfriend material! I also loved the side characters, especially Capriโs sister, Collie, she brought so much light and energy to the story!
The audiobook narration was soo good! Sebastian York brought Jones to life with his smooth, confident voice and nailed every emotional and steamy moment. Stefanie Kay was equally great as Capri, her voice had warmth and vulnerability that made you feel every bit of Capriโs journey! Together, they had such natural chemistry, making the story even better!
If you enjoy second chances, vacation romance, emotional healing, and some spice, Capri is the perfect summer listen! I already canโt wait for the next book in this series!
