4.5 stars. My heart and mind are full – but when it comes time to sit down and express such feelings in writing, I come up empty. That’s always been a problem of mine – I linger over leather-bound journals and hand stitched notebooks in stores, imagining the multitudes those blank pages could contain. Yet, after bringing home such a prized possession, it often remains ferreted away on my bookshelves. After all, what great sentiments do *I* have to share that would warrant marring those pristine pages?

That is one of the many reasons I value authors in general, and Virgina Evan in particular, for gifting readers with such a work. She’s put down on pages so many of the words we have been searching for. Thank you for crafting a work of fiction that rings so true.
