I really liked this! This really isn’t the title for you if you prefer more direct forms of communication like… Actually talking and expressing your feelings lol but where this story lacks in verbal communication it soars with communication in actions. Though, if you’re like me who prefers adults actually verbally communicating, being stuck in these characters heads only thinking the things you want them to say out loud may irritate you as a lot of this books bulk is just the leads ping ponging the same inner thoughts and feelings over and over and over again. Luckily Killian continously tried to fix his mistakes and showed us through his actions that he understood the severity of those mistakes and was truly sorry + wanted to correct wrong doings. Would have loved some groveling and there isn’t any here.. This was a nice time! albeit cringe and repetitive at other times, I wasn’t bored! I enjoyed Killian’s growth and though Una didn’t really grow as a character as she started as a physically weak wolf and ended as a physically weak wolf mated to someone who could fight her battles, I still found her strong in her own way. I personally would have used my bond and sway to make things better for the people I loved IMMEDIATELY (even knowing the person I was using was used often and had trust issues because of it) lol so I found Una a bit whiny at times as she had the power to change things but she did get to the same conclusion and with heart! So overall a very nice rejected mate romance! I will continue the series~
